Dr. Roland Romijn is the Head of General Operations of the Utrecht site of IPA (Europe). Roland is co-founder of U-Protein Express BV, which became part of ImmunoPrecise in 2017. He works closely with the executive team and all IPA sites to streamline and optimize large scale recombinant protein production, via the rPEx® platform. He is also responsible for coordinating catalog product sales and the introduction of new products.
Dr. Romijn completed his PhD at the Department of Hematology of the University Medical Center Utrecht, and the Department of Crystal and Structural Chemistry of Utrecht University, on the structure and function of von Willebrand Factor.
